Step 5: Run a simple Swift Program

To enter Swift command line, simply type ‘swift‘ on your terminal and press ‘Enter

$ swift
Welcome to Swift version 5.3.3 (swift-5.3.3-RELEASE).
Type :help for assistance.

To run a simple ‘hello world’ program, simply use ‘print

1> print("Hello World!")
Hello World!
